In 1978, we set out as 'Life of the South,' a regional insurer with one goal: to help people and businesses turn their ambitions into reality by managing risk. As the world evolved, so did we. 'Life of the South' founded as a regional monoline insurer.

2010

Changed name to Fortegra Financial.
Launched first Initial Public Offering.

2014

Fortegra acquired by Tiptree (NASDAQ: TIPT)

2018

Expanded globally with 'Fortegra Europe Insurance Company Limited.'
