Fortegra protection plans are available for purchase at partner retailers, both large and small, throughout the United States. Some of our utility partners even offer bundled protection plans.

Generally speaking, Fortegra plans cover common accidents or defects. However, each plan is different, so be sure to check your plan’s terms and conditions to understand your coverage.

Generally, yes. Though we do have some special plans that offer post-purchase protection, a warranty protection plan added at the time of your product purchase just makes good sense.

Protection plan financing is available at the discretion of your retailer; but yes, most Fortegra partners will allow you to finance the cost of your protection plan along with your product purchase.

No worries. Just call Fortegra at 800.867.2216 to start a claim and we’ll take care of everything. It takes just one phone call and there are no pesky forms required. Plus, we’ll keep you up to date on the status of your claim with useful features like opt-in text message updates.

For larger items—TVs, refrigerators, desktop computers, etc.—we’ll have a repair technician sent to your location to diagnose the problem and make repairs. We always try our best to do everything in one trip, but it depends on the repair. You also have the option to take covered items to an authorized service center, or ship smaller items to a repair facility. Typically, the claims process takes about 7–10 days start to finish.
